Shelley Futch Anderson, Voice Actor

Self Empowerment
Memoir - Female - Coping with grief
Contemporary Fiction- Boys at play - Ages 6-12

 Let’s tell a story together.

My adventurous (and sometimes bizarre) life experiences inform my voice, allowing for a uniquely human approach to narration. A trained vocalist and frontwoman of several bands, I offer a wide range of emotions, connected performances, and believable characters.

An intrepid traveler, and study of the human condition, I produce Memoirs that immediately resonate with the audience, and channel an honest vulnerability within my characters for the Contemporary Fiction that I narrate.

As an avalanche survivor, I approach challenging topics without fear, modeling the curiosity and tenacity of an athlete who never gives up - perfect for Self-Empowerment books.

A side benefit of growing up an only child semi-feral in the woods, I found myself with a lot of time to create many characters (and their imaginary friends) with unique voices to keep me company.

When I’m not narrating audiobooks, you will most likely find me joyfully taking risks, and playing in a forest somewhere in the Pacific Northwest.

Don’t take my word for it…

“In a voice that is both lyrical and evocative, Shelley Anderson has brought my book to life in a way that readers will find entertaining and unforgettable.

Her voice has a marvelous range, perfect for portraying characters of all ages, with male and female characters given traits that reflect their personalities distinctly.”

~ Bess Hendrick, author of Welcoming the Rain

“We could not recommend Shelley more highly. Dedicated, serious about getting to know - and reflect - the characters in the narration, helpful beyond the narration itself. The best recommendation is hiring someone again and we will DEFINATELY hire again moving forward. Cannot recommend her highly enough!!!”

~ Bill Putsis and David Edelheit - authors of Scarlett’s Revenge

“I knew she had nailed it when I cried during my review of the material. This book is deeply personal, and Shelley somehow captured the heart of my sorrow while bringing professionalism to other parts of the story and dignity to the entire work. That balance was incredibly important to me as the author, and she handled it beautifully.

Shelley completed the project even more quickly than anticipated without ever compromising quality. The finished narration exceeded my expectations, and I could not have asked for a better person to bring Who Holds the Leader? to life in audio.

I would recommend her without hesitation to any author looking for a narrator who is talented, responsive, collaborative, and truly invested in honoring the work.”

~Tamara o’Neil - Author of Who Holds the Leader
